17-year-old Cheng Miao Miao and her brother, 16-year-old Cheng Ya Ya, were born in the No. 1 Oil production plant of Linqi Oilfield. Three generations of their family are oilfield workers. Their father, Cheng Peng Fei, is an otolaryngologist, and their mother, Jia Dai Yu, is a team logistics. The whole family moved from the northwest to the seaside base, Heping Town, in the late 1990s. Miao Miao, with a yearning for<span class="read-more-hidden"> the outside world, pulled her childhood sweetheart Li Si and her best friend Hu Qiu Min, intending to use the summer vacation of her first year in high school to start the adventure of "going to Hong Kong to welcome the city's return to the motherland", but failed.
