Dombivli Fast captures India's functioning anarchy on celluloid. Madhav Apte, the protagonist is a middle class citizen who is struggling to make the ends meet. We see a slow mental breakdown of this individual as he decides to counter the injustices, first by simple questioning and later, as he loses the mental balance, through violence. As India gears towards becoming a developed nation, it still battles with the age-old feudal mindset. The corruption and inflation make it difficult for a middle class person to make living with dignity. It is not just the judiciary or the corporate greed that is the question here, but a lack of basic amenities such as potable water, that really get to the protaganist. The film ends on a pessimistic note which in a way does reflect the reality. The pace of the film develops at a natural pace and gains momentum as it progresses. Written by Ashwini Gopal

In the rural areas of Maharashtra lies a peaceful village called Mangrul. One day Keshav (Girish Kulkarni), a village youth, sees lord Dattatrey (Datta) in his dreams while taking a nap under a tree. He makes a hue and cry in the village saying God made an appearance for him. Anna (Dilip Prabhavalkar), most respected figure of Mangrul, advises him against announcing such personal matter as it's a question of faith. However, it is too late as a journalist (Kishor Kadam) sensationalizes the news about Lord Dattatrey making an appearance in Mangrul. There is now a demand for a Dattatrey temple. Bhau (Nana Patekar), a political activist, doesn't approve it as he wants the funds to be used for better purposes but he seems helpless. The temple is built and the village becomes a holy place. Mangrul goes through a 360 degree change due to commercialization but nobody is complaining except Anna. Soon, blinded by the commercial progress, God is forgotten. Every village has a right to progress commercially but how ethical it is to use a temple and its God to achieve it? The question is raised by Writer Girish Kulkarni & Director Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni's latest offering 'Deool', without being judgemental. An 11-year-old moves to a small town because of his mother's job transfer. Initially he faces challenges adjusting this place, soon he get to know his classmates who becomes friends to him. He starts enjoying small moments with his friends. Once from school all gang decides to go for a cycle race. All of them reach to a 'Killa' and while exploring 'killa' Chinmay is left behind, sudden rains hit the place and all other friends leave him back there. he searches entire 'killa' for them and returns home very disappointed that no one cares for him. Same time his mom is faces some challenges at work which she is not able to express to Chinmay. Chinmay is also unhappy asking her mom to leave this place and go back to Pune where they came from. Then some point down the line he realizes that those friends cared about him, also how his mom is trying hard to handle all pressures and this little boy.

Dhananjay Mane lives as a tenant with Vishwasrao Sarpotdar who strictly doesn't want anyone staying in his house besides Dhananjay as he is paying the rent of only one person. Making of India's first feature film, 'Raja Harishchandra' was an amazing adventure. The Phalke family encountered mostly funny but also a few grave situations during their journey of film making. They were a team of crazy yet lovable people that helped in winning over patrons and eventually money. Together, not only did they deliver the first Indian film, but they had ensured it to become the first super hit film too! In 1914, Phalke refused offers from his English friends to make films in London.
