Siddharth and his friends rescue a village in Warangal from severe floods. Sidhartha is convinced that Govt will give some relief package to the flood effected. Some time later he realizes that Pappu Yadav hogged on the relief fund before it reached the effected. Pappu Yadav is now contesting in elections and Sidhu goes against him with his friend. The fight between the two starts on from then on. After a few twists, Sidhartha kidnaps the fiancee of Pappu Yadav, Varalaxmi. Siddharth is now hunted by both police and villains. Reddy (Jayaprakash Reddy) is a powerful mafia leader whose right hand is Devudu (Gopichand). Devudu has a lover called Malli (Raasi). In an incident, Devudu sets a market place afire and Venkateswarlu rescues it with his fire fighting and at the same time Venkateswarlu slaps Devudu, as he continues throwing kerosene at the market place. Devudu holds grudge against Venkateswarlu and sends him to jail on a framed charge of murder. Seetaram (Mahesh Babu) who is the son of Venkateswarlu tries to rescue his father from the jaws of police. But in the process, everybody starts asking him for money to do the work. At the end of the day, the police officer kills Venkateswarlu. The rest of the story is about how Seetarams mother (Talluri Rameswari) takes revenge on the people responsible for the death of her husband with the help of her son Seetaram. The criminals involved in the crime of his fathers death are killed one after the other by the mother and the son in a planned and scientific manner. This film tells about an innocent boy, who along with his mother undergoes injustice and also loses his father in this process. Naani is a mischievous eight-year-old boy who is always troubling his mother. His mother scolds him for his behavior, such as when he eats toothpaste or urinates in bed. Naani falls down on a road one day and a young woman helps him. Naanis elder brother plans to watch a movie with his friends in the absence of their parents and Naani demands to join him, which his brother does not allow. Angered, Naani cuts off the power which creates a short circuit at home. Naanis mother scolds him and shouts at her husband for not stopping with one child. This hurts Naani and he runs away from home to jump into a river. But he is stopped by an old man who takes Naani to his place. The old man introduces himself as a scientist who has his own laboratory. He insists that Naani help him in his research. Naani agrees and the scientist uses his research to transform him into a young man. Naani starts to live as a young man physically, but remains a child mentally. He stays away from his family. The only person other than the scientist who knows the truth is his child friend. Naani meets a girl (Priya) at a park who helped him once when he fell down. Naani helps remove dust from her eyes, smiles at her, and leaves. The girl is attracted to him and looks for him. Naani goes for a job interview at a toy manufacturing company. The owner who interviews him demands that he have childhood memories and be like a child to understand childrens tastes. Naani grabs the job easily. The company falls into the hands of the owners daughter who turns out to be Priya. Priya is happy to see Naani in her company. Their friendship makes Raj (another employee) jealous. Naani overcomes Rajs idea for a new type of bed for kids and introduces his own idea. Naani meets his brother as an anonymous man and hears that his mother is depressed over Naanis disappearance. Naani meets his mother who had fallen ill. Naani asks the scientist to change him back. The scientist complies and Naani reconciles with his mother. That night he changes back into the young man, shocking the scientist. Naani lives as an eight-year-old boy during the day and as a twenty eight-year man (Vichu) at night. Priya expresses her love, but Vichu tells her to love a man suitable for her age. The scientist tells Vichu to accept Priya. Priya asks him to accompany her to a matinee. Young boy Naani cannot appear. He sees Priya angrily waiting for Vichu at the theatre while going home with his mother. Naanis mother befriends Priya and Priya comes to like Naani. Priya gets angry at Vichus absence. She finally decides to marry Vichu. Raj kidnaps him on the wedding day, but then Vichu becomes Naani. The kidnappers release him. Naani becomes Vichu and marries Priya that evening. (Hindu marriages usually take place at Night). Vichu knows nothing about marital life. Naani somehow manages his mother by disappearing at night. Priya needs a child so she intentionally shows her skin to Vichu, who responds. Priya becomes pregnant. Vichu once meets his mother and understands the difficulties of pregnancy for a woman. Naanis child friend demands to play with him, but Naanis schedule is too complicated. Naani slaps his friend and to make him angry and reveals the truth to Priya. Priya is shocked to hear that she is bearing the child of a child. Priya argues with Vichu for marrying her and making her pregnant, but Vichu blames her arrogance for involving him. Naani turns into Vichu in front of her, shocking Priya. Vichu reveals that he loves her. Priya now goes into labour and Vichu takes her to hospital. On the way Vichu is stopped by Rajs men seeking revenge. Vichu overcomes them. Everybody learns the truth about Naani and Priya. Twenty years pass. Naani reaches twenty-eight. He lives with Priya as her husband. He goes inside his room as Naani and comes out as a forty-eight-year-old Vichu, father of a twenty-year-old son.

In nineteenth century, during the Amavasya phase, considered to be inauspicious, a greedy alcoholic Zamindar intrudes the temple to steal the idol of principal deity Durga, made of Panchaloha to repay the loans, he had borrowed from Britishers. Therefore, the divine powers kill the Britishers and Zamindar, conjuring a mythical curse on the Zamindars family which results in the deaths of the familys heirs for every forty-eight years. In 2001, Murari is the motherless youngest child of the Zamindars family, whose grandmother Sabari had lost her husband forty-eight years ago due to the curse, is concerned about the next victim of it. Murari, named after his late grandfather, receives utmost love and respect from his family comprising his father Sathipandu; Sabari; elder brothers Seenayya, Baachi and Soori; their wives and kids. Murari was raised and adored by his eldest sister-in-law Gopi, whom he admires. Muraris family is at odds with Gopis maternal family headed by her uncle and foster father Chanti as the latters alcoholic son Rambabu had created issues for them at Gopis wedding. Therefore, Gopi is only allowed to visit her family alone and the others do not talk with her family. Vasundhara "Vasu" is Chantis daughter who is a city-bred agricultural student. Murari perceives that Gopi had intentionally refused to have children as she feared that she might lose her affection for Murari if she had her own progeny, while the society kept humiliating her for being infertile. Creating a scenario, Murari accompanies Gopi to her village for her happiness, flirts with Vasu and falls in love with her. After a feud with Rambabu, Murari leaves to his house while leaving Gopi for a few days to complete the pending rituals of a Vratam. Meanwhile, Muraris family priest realizes that Murari would be the next victim of curse but hides it from Sabari. Vasu leaves to Hyderabad as she misses Murari. Upon Sathipandus insistence, who knows about his feelings for Vasu, Murari goes to Hyderabad, confesses his feelings for Vasu, who unbeknownst to her family, comes to stay with Murari and family for a few days under pretext of a research as per Sathipandus plan. Eventually, Murari convinces everyone to accept his relationship with Vasu. When he informs Sabari and requests her to accept his prospective marriage with Vasu, she is about to accept but the priest reveals about Muraris impending demise due to the curse and asks her to stop the marriage as Vasu would be widowed at a young age. Sabari obliges and objects to Vasu and Muraris marriage without revealing the truth. Misinterpreting this last-minute decision of Sabari to be revenge for the family feud, Rambabu hastily arranges for Vasu to marry Bullabayi, a mute and greedy man. Sabari has Murari perform several rituals to get rid of the curse while Chanti arrives at the temple and informs everyone of Vasus destined wedding. Murari decides to leave for rescuing her but Sabari stops him due to which the family confronts her and accuses her of avenging the feud between the families using Vasu. However, the priest bursts out the truth about the curse and Sabaris attempts to protect Murari from the curse and that her intention behind rejecting the wedding was to preserve Vasus future from being spent as a widow. The family is shocked upon hearing this while Murari vows to return safe and leaves to bring Vasu, who escapes from the house with the help of her mother and other ladies. Murari saves Vasu when she is being chased by Bullabayi but gets stabbed by the latter. Hiding his wound and carrying an unconscious Vasu, Murari heads to the temple and proceeds to complete the pending ritual Abhishekam. Soori is notified of Muraris wound and fetches doctors without informing the family of it. Rambabu arrives and beats Murari with a stick while he is carrying the idol of Durga but the idol undergoes Rakthabhishekam, i.e, Abhishekam with blood. Vasu regains her consciousness and informs Gopi that Murari was stabbed. Murari completes the ritual and faints. However, as expected, Muraris condition doesnt stabilize fretting the family. To save Murari and to ensure his happiness, Sabari leaves to the river and drowns herself, giving herself as a sacrifice to satisfy the Goddess. As a result, the curse is nullified; Murari recovers. After a few days, Murari and Vasu get married and seek blessings from the Goddess and late Sabaris portrait.

The story revolves around a remote village in Andhra Pradesh plagued by a strange disease killing a lot of people. The soothsayer of the village predicts that God would come to their village for rescue. Meanwhile, Raju (Mahesh Babu) a cab driver in Hyderabad goes to Rajasthan to handover an insurance cheque to a mans family who dies in his car. In a strange situation, Raju meets a man from the village and gets to know about their problem. Soon Raju realizes he is none other than the God-sent, the soothsayer predicted, and the rest of the story is all about how Raju takes up the responsibility to rescue the village from the clutches of evil.
