Sidika tells the adventures of Saka and the Saka family from Sinop, who live in a suburb of Istanbul. Siddiqa is a humorous housewife who has been able to educate herself even though she has not been sent to school. He has a poor brother, an oppressive and alcoholic father, a mother who thinks Sidika is problematic and intends to marry him as soon as possible. Siddiqui's days pass by staying indoors at home, and his only connection with the outside world is to watch out of the window.
