The story is simple. Baskaran aka Boss ( Arya) is an unemployed youth without a care in the world whose elder brother Saravanan ( Subbu) is a vet still unmarried at 45. The doting family consisting or amma and a sister is completed when a bride enters the home as Saravanan falls in love. In the meanwhile Boss finds that the girl he has fallen for, Chandrika ( Nayan) is the sister of his new anni. Nallathambi ( Santhanam) is his one and only best friend who runs a hair saloon and helps the hero in everything from passing arrears to wooing his girl. This happy state of affairs continues till the day Boss asks for Chandrika's hand in marriage, a move strongly opposed by her father (Chitra Laxman) and also the anni since the hero is unemployed and has not even a college degree. The story of two brothers, Thiru Murthy (Madhavan) and Guru Murthy (Aarya) who are poles apart in character. Their father was a constable but after his demise, Thiru takes on the same duty. The movie revolves around Dhuruvan (Jayam Ravi), who knows everything and anything about the forest. His travails while taking a bunch of college girls on a trekking to a jungle makes up the movie. The movie begins with the group of arrogant girls selected for trekking inside a forest as part of the NCC camp with Dhuruvan, who is a first generation graduate and a government employee from a tribal family. His superior Ganapathiram (Ponvannan), a forest ranger, often ridicules him and insults him referring to his community. Once Dhuruvan along with girls enter forest, everything changes. They get struck inside the jungle and come across a group of foreign ultras who come to hamper India's mission to launch a satellite in the orbit. The terrorists led by Anderson (Roland Kickenger) plans to take a strategic location in the forest and strike the satellite with a missile.
