Kalakalappu is a story of two brothers and their quest to save their café. Cheenu manages the café while Raghu is in prison. Cheenu's café fails the health inspector Madhavi's test and is given a month's notice to improve things. Raghu, after being released from prison joins his brother to manage the café and conceptualizes innovative ways to make the café profitable.
