The action series takes place in Belgrade at the present time. Aleksandar Jakovljevic (Vuk Kostic), a young but experienced inspector, gets his first big case: the murder of the daughter of a reputable building contractor.Parallel to the development of the investigation, which goes in several directions, Aleksandar is torn between two woman working with him on the case: young forensic scientist Jelena, with whom he's secretly in love; and public prosecutor Marija, with whom he's having an affair. He reveals that the death of his former-police-inspector father is in some mysterious way connected with the death of innocent girls.
