Europe, the 15th century. When the Ottoman Empire mobilizes an army of unprecedented size that marches west with the objective of conquering the Vatican and overrunning Europe, Hunyadi scores a decisive victory against all odds at the Battle of Belgrade, putting an end to the Ottoman invasion, and re-shaping the history of Europe.

He turns into a deranged tyrant, his best friend, the wise Gábor Bethlen, also becomes his mortal enemy and infuriates the neighboring great powers. Huge armies of the Ottomans, Wallachians, Poles, Hungarians and Cossacks attack Transylvania because of Báthorys adventurism.
