He prompts Joji to hide her till the reward is increased, but later Nandini reveals that she is not mentally ill and she is an illegitimate child in search of her father (played by Thilakan). Rajeev Menon (Mohanlal) is a wealthy orphan, a spoilt rich brat who grew up to be an eccentric millionaire. Annie gets pregnant. Changes occur in Rajeev, some subtle and others glaring - he quits drinking, takes an interest in work, becomes a socially acceptable gentleman.
